United Kingdom Association of Rimfire & Air Rifle Benchrest Shooting
Web site: https://ukbr22.org.uk
The UKBR22 aims to promote, encourage, facilitate and develop the sport of air rifle and rimfire benchrest shooting both within the UK and worldwide. Equal opportunity membership of the association is open to anyone interested in the sport regardless of age, sex, disability, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs.
These aims will be met through the provision of a bi-annual postal league, open to all members and considered to be the bedrock of the association. Further, to encourage, arrange and assist in the participation of “head to head” competitions both within the UK and overseas, subject to those competitions meeting the criteria of the UKBR22 committee and with due regard to legislation and regulations. The association will provide an annual UK National Championships, the location of which will vary from year to year, but for the most part will take place in the July/August holiday period.
British Benchrest Rifle Club
Web site: http://www.benchrest.co.uk/
The 'British Benchrest Rifle Club' is a friendly club that relies to a large extent on peoples experience. We have very strict safely rules, but we do not have incessant bureaucratic management. We are here to enjoy our shooting in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We do not generally cater for the 'probationary' shooter as this is an advanced discipline so some experience with a rifle is useful. Having said that we have some of the most accurate fullbore shooters in the UK at 100 & 200yd who are very willing to share their experiences. We also have a wealth of experience at shooting on both the 'European' and 'World' circuits against the most accurate 100 & 200yd fullbore shooters on this planet.
Galloway Small Arms Club
Web site: http://gallowaysmallarmsclub.co.uk/
We are a friendly home office approved rifle and muzzle loading pistol club based near Crocketford in Dumfries and Galloway. The club is owned and run by its membership in order to promote and enjoy all forms of target shooting.
The club has its own 6 lane 25m and 4 lane 50 yard outdoor ranges. Both have covered firing points and are suitable for small bore rifle, LBR & LBP; pistol calibre centerfire rifle & LBR; muzzle loading pistol, revolver & rifle and practical/target shotgun. We also have 3 dedicated shotgun bays for practical shotgun plates and targets.
We also shoot once a month on a separate 100 yard benchrest range (smallbore and centrefire rifle) and once a month on a 1000 yard benchrest centrefire rifle range.
